Position: Tax Office Support Specialist
Job description (Temp-to-hire):
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Tax Office Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the tax office, managing client engagement, handling client intake, and performing data entry tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the tax office, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient workflow.
• Greet and engage with clients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Handle client intake procedures, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of client information into our systems.
• Assist clients with inquiries, providing excellent customer service and support.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure client needs are met efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office space.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
• Knowledge of tax preparation software is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting or related field is advantageous.
